Administrative Assistant for the Novo Nordisk Foundation CO₂ Research Center

At the Novo Nordisk Foundation CO₂ Research Center's management team we're seeking an administrative assistant to manage the front office of the center and be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks.

As administrative assistant, you will be managing the front office of the Center and be responsible for a wide variety of administrative tasks.

  • Organize weekly management meetings, including agenda and minutes
  • General office tasks including management of office subscriptions, purchase, and settlement of expenses
  • Meeting and calendar management and travel arrangements for the Director
  • HR support, including recruitment, on- and offboarding processes and holiday administration.
  • Maintenance of databases and filing (WorkZone)
  • Communicating with internal and external partners
  • Events management: organizing online and in-person events, workshops and annual meetings

Your profile

You have strong motivation and interpersonal skills and possess a high degree of creativity and independence. You like finding novel creative solutions, and to get a job done.  You are a good listener and a strong and clear communicator in Danish as well as English in both writing and speaking, fitting easily into an international environment. You are solution-oriented and enjoy making the impossible possible.  You enjoy working with diverse scientists and non-science individuals and want to be part of an awesome team. Preferentially but not conditionally, you have prior experience in supporting a center or entity of a similar size. Experience with public sector administrative systems is an advantage (e.g., RejsUd, IndFak, and WorkZone).

Who we are

The Novo Nordisk Foundation CO2 Research Center (CORC) is a newly established, mission‐oriented center based at Aarhus University. The center’s purpose is to develop novel science for carbon capture and conversions for storage or utilization to replace fossil carbon and fossil fuel‐intensive processes with sustainable, CO2‐based technologies. In the secretariat, we are a small international team of eight people. We support the Center’s ten research groups at Aarhus University and other institutions nationally and internationally.
