The desired TRL is between 1 and 4.

Must international partners be included in the proposal?

We encourage national and international interdisciplinary collaboration, but it is not required.

Can one applicant submit several applications?

As a main PI, you may submit one application per call. However, you may participate as co-PI on multiple applications.

No, this is not a call for post-docs or junior scientists, but we anticipate opening calls later next year for these roles.

The applicant may apply for their (part of) own salary, however bench fee/administrative/technical support will not be calculated for more than two full-time employees.

Are institutional overheads allowed to be part of budget?

This funding does not permit overheads to be part of the budget. The applicant may include 295 000 DKK/FTE/year for bench fees, technical and administrative support. This amount is for the host institution to cover the indirect costs.

If one of your potential collaborators is not affiliated with a university, will they be a co-principal investigator or sub-awardee?

Since the potential collaborator is not affiliated with a university, they will function as a sub-awardee.

If invited for full proposal, can the budget summary be presented in a different currency?

No, the budget must be presented in Danish kroner (DKK), as the funding will also be in DKK.
